Welcome to Woodmore Elementary, home of the Wildcats!

We are a Pre K-4th grade building and take tremendous pride in educating our 400 students. At Woodmore, you’ll find all our teachers and staff giving their best every day and working hard to put the needs of our students first. I am extremely proud to work with a team of excellent teachers who do so much to promote growth and achievement in their students. We have a highly-trained intervention staff to assist students who are struggling to reach grade-level expectations. We offer a gifted program to meet the needs of our top students, and our top-notch teachers are willing to differentiate their instruction to meet the needs of every student in every room. We have a fantastic collection of special-area teachers that engage students and do a great job providing a well-rounded education that includes the arts. We have also worked very hard to create a safe environment for all who come into our building.

When you enter our school, you will be greeted with a smile by Mrs. Kigar, our elementary secretary. She is extremely student centered and provides encouragement and sometimes a needed hug to our little ones. Her duties are too numerous to list, but she goes above and beyond every day to assist our staff, students and parents. In all we do, we strive to be patient, responsive, and attentive to the needs of our parents and students, and truly.

Woodmore Elementary also boasts an extremely supportive parent teacher organization. Our P.T.O. holds a variety of fundraisers throughout the year to provide our staff and students a wide range of extra opportunities.
